Integrated Document Management

Smart businesses today realize that relying on paper-based information for day-to-day operations can result in higher document management costs, a loss of mission-critical information, and a increasingly challenge in gaining and maintaining a competitive advantage. Integrated Document Management can help organizations to counter the effects of low productivity and sky-rocketing costs by helping them to control document management from a central database-driven environment that enforces security and integrity.

imageWARE Document Manager is a powerful document management system that simplifies how businesses manage documents by providing easy-to-use functions for capturing, managing, and distributing digital documents.

Capture
Convert paper documents to digital content and capture images from Canon networked office systems, TWAIN & ISIS scanners, Windows applications, File servers, Web servers and other devices.

Manage
Easy-to-use search features, Canon device integration, and flexible document manipulation tools enhance document retrieval and processing. Check-in/check-out, versioning, advanced security, and audit trails ensure data integrity.

Distribute
Printing, faxing, and email are all tightly integrated for easy document distribution.

On-Demand Publishing and Printing

The Internet has changed the way businesses communicate and the turnaround time for information to be distributed. Manual document creation and offset printing have rendered printed output as a slow and expensive communication channel that often results in critical information becoming outdated. On-demand publishing and printing can shorten the time between document creation and output and allow users to print only what they need—where they need it. Businesses can now avoid unnecessary document storage expenses, while having the flexibility to distribute up-to-date, personalized documents from a document management database.

imageWARE Publishing Manager is a user-friendly desktop publishing application that is designed to simplify office document creation involving business information that is stored in hard copy and electronic formats. imageWARE Publishing Manager creates print-ready documents that can be stored in the imageWARE Document Manager database for on-demand printing on compatible Canon imageRUNNER devices.

Document Creation Made Simple
Create new documents from simple text, shape, and image objects; export in PDF from existing Microsoft® Windows-based office and graphics application formats. Save documents with complex printing and finishing settings for fast reprinting. Take advantage of special features that are optimized for on-demand printing with compatible Canon imageRUNNER devices.

imageWARE Document Composer is designed to streamline the production of professional-quality publications, especially those that require multiple inserts and content types, such as product manuals, office color quality brochures, monthly reports, and general purpose booklets. Document Composer is also compatible with select imageRUNNER devices to allow office and Central Reprographics Department users to easily submit print jobs via an intranet or Internet connection whenever and wherever needed.

Dynamic Publishing Server
Take advantage of imageWARE’s Web-based features for print job preview and submission, document assembly and manipulation, on-line document management and sharing, and job management and ticketing. It makes cents to use a turnkey publishing platform that combines many of the rich features of imageWARE Publishing Manager with the powerful finishing and production printing capabilities of Canon imageRUNNER devices.
