imageRUNNER ADVANCE Essentials, is a suite of office productivity software that allows end users to bring the power of imageRUNNER ADVANCE systems to their desktop. imageRUNNER ADVANCE Essentials is comprised of three different components; imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop, Workflow Composer with MEAP Connectors, and imageRUNNER ADVANCE Tracker. Each of these components helps businesses attain a higher quality and efficiency of work in less time, empowering the effectiveness of knowledge workers.
imageRUNNER ADVANCE Tracker utilizes user notifications, department and user usage tracking, and comprehensive job logs and reports to help keep printing costs low. User notifications can be customized by administrators to display a corporate message on the device panel upon log-in. Device usage including color and black-and-white printing can be tracked on department and user level with comprehensive job logs and reports generated automatically.
Using the output bar within the Desktop Browser, users gain an at a glance look of which devices they use are operational. In addition the task tray icon also allows users to monitor their activity by displaying icons showing default printing status, fax transmission/reception logs, and new document notifications.
Desktop’s Binder Editor gives users the ability to combine documents from multiple sources (MS Office, PDF, images, etc.) through either their Desktop library or printing directly into the Binder Editor. Once documents have been added to the Binder Editor pages can be rearranged, finishing settings can be added and previewed on screen before printing.
After combining documents with Desktop’s Binder Editor, users can then rearrange page content and change text through the Object Layout Editor without leaving imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop or launching any additional software. Either Detail Mode to change the text or Block Mode to rearrange entire sections of a document and consolidate information from multiple documents can be used to make on the fly changes to any document.
Businesses can now automate manual processes with programmable workflows for scanning, archiving, and distributing invoices, purchase orders, sales receipts, and more. Create one-touch buttons through either the device panel or the Workflow Composer Editor PC application that enable employees to perform complex tasks much more quickly, especially those unique to your department or organization. Information can also be sent to a backend system easily by utilizing one of the MEAP connectors for Workflow Composer.

imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop provides three main functions: document management, device collaboration, and device monitoring. Users can store documents in a library, access files on the Advance Box, share fax address books with other iR ADVANCE Desktop users, and see at a glance which devices in their fleet are operational. Document Binder, a feature of iR ADVANCE Desktop, gives users the ability to combine documents from multiple file formats, preview and set the print settings, and make edits with the Object Layout Editor. With imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop, end users have the tools necessary to better manage documents and interact with imageRUNNER ADVANCE systems.

imageRUNNER ADVANCE Tracker is based on the powerful MEAP platform and installs directly on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE system eliminating the need for a dedicated server. User notifications can be implemented to communicate a simple corporate message to each employee that appears when they access the imageRUNNER ADVANCE system. Monitoring and tracking the use of your imageRUNNER ADVANCE systems is simplified with iR ADVANCE Tracker. Users can track their own usage at the imageRUNNER ADVANCE interface in addition to administrators monitoring job logs and reports. Using Tracker, customers are better informed of device utilization activities and can ensure that proper actions are taken to reduce device operational costs and misuse.
Workflow Composer allows users to create and register a combination of functions that are frequently used as a one-touch button on the device. When combined with the standard MEAP Connectors, documents can also be scanned and transmitted to external systems using SMB or FTP protocols. In addition, Workflow Composer Editor allows users to create flows from their computer, removing the need to stand at a device to create a new workflow composer button. Workflow Composer and MEAP Connectors are ideal ways to simplify complex workflow processes for end users. By incorporating complex workflows into one-touch buttons on the imageRUNNER device, end users are more productive and can focus on activities more strategic to their job and organization.

imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop provides users with their own personal productivity tools including document management and print settings management. With the use of personal libraries users are given a more advanced means of tracking, handling, or adding annotations to their documents either on the PC or the ADVANCE Box. Merging documents and previewing print settings is simplified with the use of the Binder Editor, where users can merge, preview and set print settings as well as make last minute edits to the text with the Object Layout Editor.
imageRUNNER ADVANCE Tracker includes all the basic cost management functions to get your company up and running with cost accounting. Usage can be tracked by user or department by administrators and even by users themselves through the imageRUNNER ADVANCE interface. Reports can be generated automatically for easy viewing of usage trends. With on-screen messages administrators can take the information they gather from reports and distribute company wide messages through the imageRUNNER ADVANCE UI giving users tips and general information on how to make their printing more efficient.
Everyday workflows are made simple with Workflow Composer. Through either the imageRUNNER ADVANCE system UI or the Workflow Composer Editor PC application, administrators can customize many functions, including scanning, sending, and storing into a single button making it easy for users to complete the same workflow tasks repeatedly with minimal effort.
